Bereavement Notice Stephen Kirkcaldie

It is with great sadness we inform members that last Thursday evening 30th March, Union Waihi Club Instructor, Stephen Kirkcaldie died in a traffic accident while cycling home after work. Stephen was heading home to Temuka after finishing work for the day at his job at Fonterra in Timaru. Stephen, aged 55, taught Taekwondo at the Waihi Preparatory Boys School and was very passionate about Taekwondo as well as being a keen hunter. He is survived by his wife Carmela and their three children. Our thoughts and condolences go out to Stephen’s wife, children, family and students during this time. The funeral will be held this Wednesday 3rd April, 1pm at Alpine Community Centre, Domain Street, Temuka.
